In 1996 Annie trained in the Satyananda style of yoga which includes asana, pranayama (breathing) and meditation.
Annie has taught for many years in the Bays while developing her own style and continuing to study and practise with international yoga teachers.
Orginally from the UK, Annie comes from a strong health & fitness background. A well known instructor in respected London Health Clubs, Annie turned to yoga to maintain energy levels as well as her mental and physical balance to help deal with the demands of her profession.
Yoga was, and is, her 'sanctuary' and healing time.
Arriving in New Zealand in 1996 Annie has taught for many years in the Bays whilst developing her own practice and continuing to study and learn with international yoga teachers.
Annie also teaches Vinayasa (Flow) Yoga, Yin Yoga and Yoga Ball Fusion and invites people of all levels of fitness to experience and enjoy the wonderful benefits of a regular yoga practice.
