Marie has a warm and friendly personality, she enjoys creating a calm and nurturing atmosphere for bonding and relaxation in Mum and Baby classes. She previously worked as a midwife in France before moving to New Zealand and becoming a mum with two children.
Marie grew up in France and has been living in Auckland since 2013. Her personal yoga odyssey goes back many years to a time when she started a personal journey of self-discovery and self-improvement. With the practice of different yoga styles she understood the benefits of breath and movement, and the positive effect this can have on the mind. To understand what was behind this fascinating discipline, she spent 1 month in 2017 in the Ashram Yoga’s Ohui Retreat in Coromandel to be a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200).
With her Midwifery background she decided to follow her passion for motherhood through yoga and did the Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training with Bliss Baby Yoga (RPYS). Marie has a holistic and comprehensive approach to maternity. She loves supporting mothers through their pregnancy and empowering early parent-child relationships. In her classes, you can expect to learn to connect the mind, body, and breath through gentle movements and relaxations.
